Tactical Gear
A tactical backpack carries your gear to the stand, holds up to brush and rough handling, and keeps everything organized. This collection includes tactical and hunting backpacks, MOLLE packs, tactical vests, and plate carriers from Rothco for deer and hog hunters.
How to Choose Tactical Gear
Pack size for how you hunt
A small daypack covers a short walk to a box blind or a feeder check. Spot-and-stalk hunts, hog hunts on foot, or long days call for a larger hunting backpack with room for water, layers, and a game bag.
MOLLE for customization
MOLLE webbing lets you add pouches for a knife, rangefinder, first aid kit, or extra mags. It is a simple way to set up a MOLLE pack the way you hunt.
Durable fabric for brush country
Mesquite thorns, catclaw, and prickly pear tear up lightweight packs. Heavier fabrics and reinforced stitching hold up better in Texas brush.
Comfort in the heat
Padded shoulder straps, a hip belt, and a back panel with some airflow make a difference on hot early-season walks. Adjust the fit before you need it.
Hydration and quiet
A hydration sleeve is useful for warm-weather hunts, when you can go through more water than you expect on a September sit. Check that zippers and buckles are not noisy, since a loud pack can spook deer. Hanging the pack on a hook inside the blind keeps it off the floor and out of the way.
Tactical vests and plate carriers
A tactical vest keeps ammo and tools at hand for hog hunting or range days. Plate carriers are typically used for training, range use, and similar purposes. Know your local laws on body armor.
